Jacob & Jessica Sedmak established SCC Woodworks originally in Northwestern Pennsylvania in 2009 with the main focus being finish carpentry and fabricating custom furniture. As the Sedmak family made their way to upstate New York with years of experience in cabinet making and custom marine carpentry things slowly moved into the sawmill business. That shift was fed by the desire to have a steady supply of materials to work with. Little by little things transitioned into owning and operating a sawmill. The high demand for sawyers was quickly realized, which now is a large part of our business activities. Being one of the few mobile sawmilling services in the Hudson Valley, New York area, SCC attributes their reputation to the lasting customer relationships we have developed throughout the years.
